Here at Blush Bloomsburg, we have worked hard to build a thriving business with a reputation for excellence. Fortunately, we succeeded… Unfortunately, we weren’t exactly prepared for that success. Now, we’re booked solid with standing clients and longer appointment scheduling wait times then our clients would like sometimes.

Clearly, this crisis requires immediate resolution.

Do you hold a valid cosmetology license in the state of PA? Are you looking for full-time employment at a salon that offers guaranteed base wages plus commission bonuses and benefits like continuing education?

Why should you come work with us? Plenty of reasons!  First off, you are a W-2 Employee. No “independent contractors” here and no renting space. We contribute to our employees’ tax responsibility in accordance with federal law, so you’ll never be shocked with a surprise tax bill in April.  We provide all tools and equipment, including implements and product. You will never be charged arbitrary fees for supplies or “redos.”  We handle all marketing for you.  We won’t throw you to the wolves. All employees are trained in our service protocols, so you’ll never feel lost or unprepared.  We support your continued professional development by holding monthly technical workshops—and yes, you’ll be paid to participate.  Free advanced training and continuing education.

Check out our website to get a feel for us and our salon. If you think we might be right for you, please email us at Be sure to attach your resume, as applications lacking them won’t be considered. Have any pictures of your work?  Attach them as well (don’t worry if you don’t!)  We will contact you to schedule an interview.  Please do not call or show up unannounced.  Like we said, we’re extremely busy handling this ongoing crisis, so appointments are required.

We hope to hear from you soon!

Blush Bloomsburg Seeks Crisis Interventionist (aka Nail Technician)

Nail technicians are required to perform manicures and pedicures in accordance with our service protocols, using the provided products and implements. Our nail specialists are expected to prepare their stations prior to each service and break them down afterwards by removing visible debris, disposing of trash, placing soiled towels into the hamper, disinfecting the surfaces, and pre-cleaning the used implements with soap and water.  Should there be a moment that you are not busy with nails, we would ask for some help throughout the salon with phones, stocking, etc.

Blush Bloomsburg Seeks Personal Therapist (aka Hair Stylist)

Our Hair Stylists provide full salon services, including hair cutting, shampooing, blow drying, coloring and styling. In addition, we offer clients facial waxing services, make-up application and nail services. We require our stylists to keep their work stations clean and clutter free.  Should there be a moment that you are not busy, we would ask for some help throughout the salon with phones, stocking, etc.  Stylists are responsible to collect payment for salon services performed.
